Zen and the Art of Bread Making

The goal of this journey was to find a way to feel more balanced and calm amongst the chaos of being quarantined with a young family. This new normal includes both living and working all from home and when you’re doing that with two kids, it can get to be bit much! I’m finding that it isn’t always convenient or possible to find a quiet place where I can get away and I’ve recently discovered new ways to be more mindful while I’m tackling my daily to-do list.

Walking Mindfully

So here in Ontario, Canada COVID-19 restrictions are starting to lift as we are getting even closer to stage 3 of reopening. With that comes all-new stressors – will my kids go back to school? will my office be reopening? will I have to get back on public transportation? will we have to go back to spending money on commuting and daycare? With all of this going on in my head 24/7 I really needed a way to move all while calming my mind and I found it – walking meditation.
